The University of New Mexico, the Max Planck Society and the International Conference on Engineering Synthetic Cells and Organelles is pleased to announce sponsored support for student/postdoc travel to the conference from:
Travel scholarships will support documented travel expenses (which may be subject to taxes) and conference registration. The travel scholarships are intended to increase attendance by students and postdocs who could substantially benefit from the conference but who do not otherwise have the means to do so.
If you have questions, please contact syncell2020@unm.edu with "Scholarship" in the subject line.
Students and postdoctoral fellows from US institutions, US students at non-US institutions and international students at non-US institutions are eligible to apply.
Priority for available funds will be given to students who (a) present a contributed talk or poster at the conference (Call for Abstracts), (b) are from underrepresented groups, such as women, minorities or persons with disabilities, and (c) are from resource-limited research groups but show serious intent and interest in the field.
